Reawakening Your Photographic Vision
with Doug Beasley
Breitenbush Hot Springs, Oregon Mountians
September 3–7, 2008
This workshop is a unique opportunity to look closely at your own work, develop ways to deepen your vision and find new paths or creative outlets for your photography. We will explore the notion of what it means to be stuck, and how this fertile ground can be used to explore who you are as an artist and reawaken what your artwork is about and how you can use the new information to move your art or career forward.
Inspiration will be sparked by a balance of conversation, portfolios, shared readings and personal reflection. Photographic exercises will be part of this experience, with individual attention given. One on one and small group pairings will create a progressive and dynamic environment. Fun, laughter and introspection are to be expected.
Intensive class sessions will be held mornings and early afternoons with the rest of the afternoon open for hiking, soaking or personal exploration.
