Some of our workshops are held on the TRADE RIVER RETREAT CENTER located north of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, (directions) a relaxing 90 minute drive from the Twin Cities. This beautiful, very private, north woods setting rests on the banks of the Trade River, a designated protected waterway. The grounds are kept in a natural state, and the workshop center itself has been built not only for maximum energy efficiency, but also with much care in providing a safe, non-toxic, all natural environment.
At the TRADE RIVER RETREAT CENTER delicious, healthy meals are prepared from fresh ingredients and served in a casual relaxed setting. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag; comfortable, indoor sleeping facilities are provided. If more private accommodations are desired, there are several local motels that are very modestly priced, or you may bring your own tent. Directions and a what to bring list will be sent upon receipt of registration. For workshops held at other locations additional information will be supplied.
